The Annual BCI Research Award ceremony was held during the conference gala dinner of the Sixth International Brain-Computer Interface Conference in Graz. The winning team consists of K. Hamada, H. Mori, H . Shinoda, and T. M. Rutkowski from the University of Tokyo, University of Tsukuba, and RIKEN Brain Science Institute with their paper Airborne Ultrasonic Tactile Display BCI.

New research suggests it could: scientists have pinpointed a specific brain pattern that responds to details it has encountered.
